In search of the playground

In collaboration with the Božidar Jakac Gallery in Kostanjevica na Krki, which is a partner of the Green Experiences of Posavje – ReviZen project, we have been planning to arrange a space for children on “the island” together with the local community since the spring. As part of the project, through several workshops, meetings and presentations, and with the help of online media and surveys, we asked both children and their parents – where and how do you play in Kostanjevica? And – what kind of play space would you like to have?

In the summer of 2019, a space began to emerge in which children and young people will be able to play, socialize or just sit and enjoy the green environment and experiences. The Božidar Jakac Gallery, the Jože Gorjup Primary School, the carpentry Milek Interier, the construction company Lovro Metelko and the Facebook group Children’s Playground in Kostanjevica na Krki were of great help.
