Goran Jakovac

Goran prihaja iz Reke na Hrvaškem. V Ljubljano se je priselil ob vpisu na študij krajinske arhitekture. Kot študent se je ukvarjal z občinskimi prostorskimi načrti in oblikovanjem zasebnih vrtov. Preden se je zaposlil kot vodja pisarne pri IPoP – Inštitutu za politike prostora, je nekaj let delal kot rečni kapitan ladjice na reki Ljubljanici in kot turistični vodnik. Je strasten amaterski fotograf in kolesar ter ljubitelj narave in odprtih prostorov.

Goran is originally from the port town of Rijeka, located in the neighboring Croatia. He came to Ljubljana to study landscape architecture and fell in love with the city. During his years as a student he was involved with municipal planning and designing gardens for private clients. Before he got his current job as an office manager in IPoP – Institute for Spatial Policies, he spent a few years as riverboat captain on Ljubljanica river and later as a licensed tour guide. He loves to spend his free time exploring nature, cycling and taking photos.
