"Joined in the park" encourages the use of public space among children with special needs and their families. With the project, we strive to make public parks, playgrounds and other open public spaces more inclusive and become a place for gathering, connecting and solidarity between all children, their families and caregivers.
The project and the exhibition shed light on the work of selected contemporary Slovenian architectural practices and answer three key questions: what is the task of architecture today, what is the organizational model of modern architectural practice and how to present architecture to the public.
RE:PLAY - Redesigning playscapes with children in Western Balkans, is engaged in rethinking play as a distinctly human capacity which is currently underrated by urban design. It highlights the significance of designing spaces with children and pioneers a co-creative design process involving children as its primary collaborators.
Project OUTSIDE encourages residents to actively manage the public space and supports small local initiatives that can help citizens to improve their surroundings and benefit the wider community.
