Spring Workshop: Caring for the Plants

In early May, we organised a hands-on workshop with pupils and teachers of Prežihov Voranc Primary School to care for the new planting beds. Together we loosened the soil, added compost and mulch, removed dry plant parts, and checked on the growth. The goal was to teach the basics of plant care and maintenance and to allow pupils to experience direct contact with the living environment they helped create.

By understanding the needs of plants and caring for green spaces, children develop a sense of responsibility towards nature – a key step towards the biodiverse and resilient cities of the future.
