OUTSIDE is a project of the City of Ljubljana coordinated by Prostorož, IPoP – Institute for Spatial Policy and Pazi!park
Project OUTSIDE (Projekt ZUNAJ) was conceived in 2019 as a result of cooperation between Prostorož, the Institute for Spatial Policy – IPoP and the City of Ljubljana.
In 2025 the project is coordinated by Prostorož, IPoP – Institute for Spatial Policy and Pazi!park.
Project OUTSIDE encourages residents to actively manage the public space and supports small local initiatives that can help citizens to improve their surroundings and benefit the wider community. All actions have in common that they are proposed and implemented by individuals through work actions of the wider community, and the coordinator is entitled to cover the material costs of implementation and mentoring. In April 2025, 20 initiatives were selected that will enrich the surrounding area with new social spaces, wooden benches, herb and flower beds, landscaping of spaces between blocks, neighbor celebrations, and more.
